Tap Tap Sahur · Effective October 18, 2026

The short version (for parents too)

Who we are

Tap Tap Sahur is an independent game made by a solo developer in the United States. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean that developer. For anything about privacy, email ryan@getvigil.health.

What stays on your device

The game saves these in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device:

Save codes: the Settings screen can turn your save into a code so you can back it up or move it to another device. The code is only copied to your device's clipboard. It goes wherever you paste it, and we never see it.

The game's Start a new game option erases your save. To remove everything, including settings, clear your browser's data for the game's website (or delete the app from your Home Screen).

What we never collect

Services that help deliver the game

To load the game, your browser downloads its files from our web host, Cloudflare (Cloudflare privacy policy), which, like every website, sees your device's network address and browser type when it connects. The host doesn't receive anything from your save. Everything else the game needs, including its font, comes from that same host: no other companies are contacted.

If you play on a game website (for example a games portal) instead of our own page, that website has its own privacy policy, which covers what it collects.

Children

Many of our players are kids, and the game is built for that. It doesn't ask for or collect personal information from anyone, and has no chat, no purchases, no ads and no tracking.

If you're a parent or guardian with any question, email ryan@getvigil.health.

Changes to this policy

If the game ever changes what it collects (for example if ads, online play or purchases are added), we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
